Aine Boden – Artist, Writer & Entrepreneur

✨ “Life is not a dress rehearsal.” ✨

My name is Aine Boden—pronounced “AWYNA” in the Gaelic dialect of Connacht and “Enya” in Ulster.

After 30 years in the aviation industry with The AGES Group in Boca Raton and Boeing in Washington, I stepped away in 2015 to begin Life 2.0—a new chapter dedicated to art, storytelling, and self-expression. I traded corporate boardrooms for paintbrushes and scripts, eager to pursue passions I had put on hold for too long. 🎨✍️

A Life of Exploration & Creativity 🌍🎭

Born in Dublin in the late ’60s, I spent my formative years (ages 5–13) in Lusaka, Zambia, traveling across Africa—Zambia, Kenya, Botswana, and South Africa. The vibrant landscapes and rich cultures left a permanent mark on me, inspiring the bold, fiery colors you see in my artwork—a style I call “Zamalmustik” (Zambian Orange Magic”). 🧡💛❤️

At 11, I was sent to a Scottish boarding school in Perth, where I developed a deep love for Irish and Scottish history and mythology. This influence is woven into my work, where Celtic gods, goddesses, and the Tuatha Dé Danann often appear. 🌿✨

A Military Legacy & Healing Through Art 🎖️🎨

Military service has been a constant presence in my life—from my great uncles and grandfather in the Royal Irish Rifles, to uncles in the Merchant Marines and Air Force, and most profoundly, my late husband, a Navy officer. His passing and the high-pressure demands of my executive career left me battling PTSD, a struggle that ultimately led me to art as a form of therapy.

At first, I never considered selling my paintings—they were my personal refuge. But friends and family encouraged me to share my work, believing it could help others find peace, just as it helped me. Now, I use my art to raise awareness about PTSD, mental health, and the healing power of creativity. 💙🖌️

Experimenting with AI & The Future of My Art 🤖🖼️

Right now, I’m diving into AI-powered creativity, experimenting with new tools and software to explore what’s possible in digital art, design, and storytelling. The learning curve is steep but exhilarating, and I’m excited to one day share what I’ve discovered with others who want to blend traditional and AI-assisted artistry

As part of this evolution, I’m working on expanding my offerings to include high-quality prints of my artwork, making my creations more accessible while maintaining their unique, handcrafted essence. 🎨🖨️

A Cannabis Dream: SknyWknd 🌿💨

I also dabbled in creating a cannabis brand called SknyWknd, an adventure that, while not commercially successful, was an incredible experience. The vision was a high-quality, lifestyle-focused cannabis brand, but like so many in the industry, navigating the unstable legal and regulatory landscape proved challenging.

That said—if we ever get a stable and fair legal environment, SknyWknd just might rise again! 🚀🔥

More Than Just an Artist 🎭📖

Beyond painting, I am also a writer, entrepreneur, and creative visionary. I am currently working on:
   •   Two books 📚
   •   A nearly finished musical 🎶 (just finalizing the music!)
   •   A play that’s waiting to be brought to life 🎭

Through my art, stories, and creative projects, I hope to inspire, heal, and connect with kindred spirits worldwide.
